During the last few months, clients have asked us if we can assist with replacing soffits, fascias and guttering which are old or worn. We are happy to have now added this service to our offering.
Soffits, fascias and guttering are all important because they help keep your home dry and free from pests. However, they are also important from a cosmetic perspective.
A roof soffit is a board which sits at a 90-degree angle to the wall of your house. It protects and seals the rafter feet.
Fascias are fixed to the lower ends of the roof trusses, protecting your roof and home from exposure to the elements. They also support roof tiles and the guttering.
Gutters catch rainwater, directing it into downpipes and towards a drain. They are fixed with the appropriate fall to prevent water pooling and overflowing.
These days, soffits, fascias and gutters are typically made of uPVC and are available in a range of colours. These modern uPVC products are hard-wearing and cope well with exposure to moisture.
